Hanaa Al Hinai is the Chief Executive Officer of Liva Insurance Oman, the country’s largest and most diversified insurer. With over 24 years of experience across the insurance and banking sectors, Hanaa brings deep expertise in property & casualty (P&C), life & health (L&H) insurance, retail banking, transformation, investments, customer strategy, product innovation, and regulatory engagement.

Since taking the helm at Liva, Hanaa has led the company through one of Oman’s most successful insurance integrations — the merger of NLGIC and Al Ahlia — ensuring uninterrupted service and setting a benchmark for operational excellence and cultural alignment.

Hanaa holds a Master’s in Finance and a Bachelor’s in Financial Risk Management from the University of Victoria, Australia. She is an alumna of Oman’s National CEO Program, delivered by IMD and the Diwan of Royal Court, and has completed executive programs at London Business School and Queen’s University. She also holds a Certificate in Insurance from the UK’s Chartered Insurance Institute and is a Certified Islamic Banker accredited by CIBAFI.

Said Al Raisi

Head of Government Relations & CEO Management Office

Said Al Raisi is the Head of Government Relations & CEO Management Office at Liva Insurance Oman where he develops effective collaboration with government officials and entities by establishing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders. Additionally, he represents the CEO office, coordinating and carrying out executive objectives, and promoting operational effectiveness.

With over 25 years of experience across business planning, wealth management, and client relationship management, Said brings a well-rounded leadership profile shaped by roles in both financial services and corporate strategy. His expertise combines analytical strength with a deep understanding of customer-centric operations.

Prior to joining Liva, Said served as Unit Head – Elite Priority Banking & Wealth Management at Oman Arab Bank, where he led transformation and growth initiatives targeting high-net-worth clients. He previously held a senior role at HSBC Premier, where he played a key part in scaling Premier Banking services with a strong focus on compliance, client satisfaction, and operational rigor.

Said’s early career includes roles in aviation and hospitality — notably at Gulf Air Holidays, where he served as an Operations Consultant and Pricing Specialist, contributing to high-impact projects such as the Formula One Bahrain event. His frontline and project management experience also includes time at Al Bustan Palace, reflecting a versatile and service-oriented leadership style.

He holds an MBA from the University of Bedfordshire and has completed multiple certifications in wealth management, client services, and leadership from internationally recognized institutions.

Aslam Al Balushi

Head of Administration & Facilities Management – Liva Insurance Oman

Aslam Al Balushi is the Head of Administration & Facilities Management at Liva Insurance Oman, where he leads the company’s administrative operations and oversees all aspects of facility planning, workplace infrastructure, procurement, and operational support. With a strong focus on efficiency, compliance, and service excellence, Aslam plays a critical role in enabling the smooth day-to-day functioning of the business and supporting Liva’s strategic objectives.

In his role, Aslam is responsible for managing a wide range of functions including property and facilities management, vendor relations, contract management, procurement, office services, and workplace safety and compliance. He ensures that Liva’s physical and operational environments meet the highest standards of functionality, brand alignment, and employee experience.

Before assuming his current position, Aslam served as Manager of Administration at Al Ahlia Insurance, where he was instrumental in streamlining operations and elevating departmental performance. He played a central role in the post-integration transformation with NLGIC, coordinating closely with government entities such as the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Chamber of Commerce, and Municipalities to ensure a smooth, compliant, and efficient transition.

Aslam also led the execution of Liva’s rebranding, managing the end-to-end transformation of signage, office aesthetics, and the launch of Liva’s redesigned headquarters and branches — ensuring alignment with the company’s premium brand identity.

Widely respected for his integrity, attention to detail, and calm leadership under pressure, Aslam continues to set the benchmark for administrative and facilities excellence in the insurance industry.

Bader Al Lawati

Head of Brand and Communications

Bader Al Lawati is Head of Brand and Communications at Liva Insurance, responsible for shaping the company’s brand, public relations, media engagement, and digital presence. With over two decades of experience across agencies, corporates, and the various sectors, Bader brings a strong blend of strategic vision and hands-on expertise in marketing and communications.

Prior to his roles in insurance, Bader worked at leading communications agencies including United Media Services and Burson Marsteller, where he managed campaigns for global brands such as Toyota, Pizza Hut, Audi, Nando’s, and Dunkin’ Donuts. He also developed communication strategies for major Omani institutions including the Ministry of Tourism, Khimji Ramdas, and the National Bank of Oman.

In his role as Head of Corporate Communications at Enhance Oman, Bader oversaw a diverse portfolio of consumer brands, including BAT, Kellogg’s, Weetabix, and Power Horse, deepening his experience in FMCG and corporate reputation management.

Bader’s career began with Audi Middle East after winning the ‘Audi Vorsprung Durch Technik’ marketing competition in the UAE. His academic background includes a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing from the University of Wollongong in Australia and a postgraduate qualification in Digital Transformation from Columbia University, where he graduated with a 98.67% score. He is currently pursuing the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) certification.

Badar Salim Al Marzuqi

Head of Distribution – Personal Lines, Liva Insurance Oman

Badar Al Marzuqi is the Head of Distribution – Personal Lines at Liva Insurance Oman, where he oversees all personal lines distribution channels across the Sultanate. With over 30 years of experience in the insurance and banking sectors, Badar brings a wealth of strategic insight, operational depth, and leadership expertise to the role.

He has spent more than two decades with National Life and General Insurance Company (NLGIC), playing a pivotal role in shaping its distribution strategies and expanding its market reach. Prior to joining Liva, Badar held senior leadership positions at Vision Insurance, where he contributed significantly to strategic planning, market development, and long-term business growth.

Badar holds an MBA from the University of Bedfordshire, UK, a Higher National Diploma in Business Studies (Marketing) from the University of Luton (via Majan College), and a Diploma in Insurance from the Technical Industrial College. His educational foundation in both business and insurance complements his hands-on experience, reinforcing his results-driven and customer-centric approach.

Fathiya Al-Hajri

Human Resources Director – Liva Insurance Oman

Fathiya Al-Hajri is the Human Resources Director at Liva Insurance Oman, where she leads the company’s HR strategy, talent development, organizational planning, and administrative functions. With over 24 years of experience in Oman’s insurance sector, Fathiya is a respected HR leader known for her strategic insight, operational excellence, and strong people focus.

Her career spans both multinational and local environments, with deep expertise in HR planning, training and development, employee engagement, and cross-functional collaboration. Fathiya is recognized for her ability to navigate complex, multicultural settings while partnering closely with teams across all levels of the organization.

Prior to her role at Liva, Fathiya held senior HR leadership roles at Al Ahlia Insurance, where she was instrumental in shaping the company’s people agenda and was consistently recognized for high performance. She was a member of the senior management team and was named one of the Top 25 Leaders in the organization.

Fathiya holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a specialization in Human Resource Management from Majan University College, Oman. Her contributions to the industry have been recognized through several accolades, including the Excellence in Talent Acquisition in Insurtech award from Muntada Al Maraa in 2023, underscoring her continued commitment to developing talent and driving organizational growth.

Gatis Kagis

Technical Director – Liva Insurance Oman

Gatis Kagis is the Technical Director at Liva Insurance Oman, overseeing underwriting, pricing, portfolio management, operations, and risk management across both Personal and Commercial lines. With nearly 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, Gatis brings deep, cross-functional expertise developed through global and regional leadership roles.

Before joining Liva, Gatis spent over two decades with international insurance leaders such as Marsh and RSA Group, including 11 years in Oman. He previously led the Commercial portfolio, underwriting, and risk management functions at Al Ahlia Insurance, as well as RSA’s Middle East Commercial Portfolio.

His experience spans a wide spectrum — from sales and customer service to product development, underwriting, claims, pricing, technology automation, and strategic execution. Gatis is also known for driving business transformation initiatives and embedding risk-informed decision-making into core operations.

He holds a Professional Bachelor’s Diploma in Business Management and a Professional Business Manager Qualification from the University of Applied Sciences RISEBA in Latvia.

Mohamed Atef Abdullatif

Chief Financial Officer – Liva Insurance Oman

Mohamed Atef Abdullatif brings over two decades of senior leadership experience across publicly listed companies in the GCC, with a strong focus on the insurance sector. As Chief Financial Officer at Liva Insurance Oman, he plays a critical role in driving financial strategy, operational efficiency, and long-term value creation.

Mohamed is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII) — credentials that reflect his deep financial expertise and disciplined approach to performance management. Throughout his career, he has built a strong reputation for delivering measurable results and operational excellence across complex, regulated environments.

His strategic leadership has been especially evident in leading two of the largest and fastest insurance mergers in the Saudi market, with a combined transaction value exceeding SAR 1 billion. These landmark transactions not only strengthened market positioning but also demonstrated his ability to lead high-stakes initiatives from end to end.

Beyond M&A, Mohamed has consistently driven high-impact transformation projects across finance, strategy, operations, and risk, all within the nuanced landscape of the insurance industry. His breadth of experience and sharp execution capability position him as a key contributor to Liva’s growth agenda and ambition to lead in the region.

Khalid bin Dawood bin Ali Alzadjali

Chief Transformation Director – Liva Insurance Oman

Khalid Alzadjali is the Chief Transformation Director at Liva Insurance Oman, where he leads the company’s digital and business transformation strategy. With over 20 years of experience in technology-driven innovation, Khalid is shaping Liva’s future by driving initiatives that enhance customer experience, improve operational efficiency, and position the company for sustainable growth in an increasingly digital insurance landscape.

Prior to joining Liva, Khalid held several senior leadership roles across both the public and private sectors. His past positions include Senior Vice President – Digital and Vice President of IT at Oman Air, as well as Director General of Information Systems at Muscat Municipality. In these roles, he led national-scale eGovernment initiatives, smart city programs, and complex digital transformations, delivering long-term impact and institutional resilience.

Khalid holds a Ph.D. in Management with a focus on Information Infrastructure Development from Royal Holloway, University of London, and is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University. He has also completed executive programs at Oxford University and IMD, as part of the Royal Academy of Management’s National Collaborative Leadership Program.
